In 2012 the Nuffield Foundation charity launched a campaign opposing Shared Parenting legislation in the UK supposedly based on the 'Australian experience'. However Kingsley Miller had taken a keen interest in developments in that country and was in correspondence with the Attorney General's Department about the work of Jenn McIntosh PhD. From his own knowledge of the country he was already aware that contrary to the claims made by the Nuffield Foundation 'Shared Parenting' legislation was a success. (Please see article below by the Australian lawyer Duncan Ranton 'Shared Parenting boosts children's rights'). Kingsley Miller therefore lauched a legal challenge to oppose the Nuffield Foundation's Director Sharon Witherspoon MBE using the foundation's endowment to pursue this campaign.
